All my working years, whether teaching school, or working in a grocery store has been about helping others. I am passionate about protecting the families of our customers through car insurance, home insurance, renters insurance and life insurance. I want to be known for always doing the right thing for the customer.
I became a State Farm agent because I like working with people and putting smiles on their faces and making sure my job is well done. I strive to teach people about the insurance they purchase and be available when they have questions or concerns.
I enjoy the small-town environment, the schools, access to excellent medical facilities, access to metropolitan areas, and how all this makes Victoria a great place to raise a family.
I am a past president of Victoria Lions Club, one of the oldest service organizations in the country where business men and women come together to join forces to support those in need, including Texas Children’s Camp and Eyeglasses for Children.
My wife, Agnes, and I were born in Victoria and attended public schools including Victoria High School. I also graduated from Victoria College, Victoria. We have raised our three children in here as well.
I started working in my earlier years selling newspapers door to door, and later working at various businesses around Victoria. After receiving my bachelor’s degree, I taught school in Bloomington, Cuero and worked at a local savings and loan.
I am passionate about enjoying the outdoors around Victoria with my grandchildren, especially saltwater fishing in Port O’Connor.
I keep up with my grandchildren’s extracurricular activities including attending my granddaughter’s performance where she stared in a high school musical. Our oldest granddaughter is now a student at Oklahoma State University where she is on the Dean's List.
